Brett Johnson

founder

Over 30 years ago, Brett Johnson moved to the Truckee/Tahoe area to work in construction. After a few years of training as an employee, he started his own roofing company, determined to be one of the area's finest roofing contractors. He continues to work alongside his crew to ensure every job is completed to the highest standards.

Barbara Johnson

Courier

When she's not on the roof (which is almost always), she's delivering the necessary supplies to the crew so they can get the job done.

Jerry Firth

Journeyman

Brett and Jerry have been best of friends since high school. He’s an excellent, all-around contractor as well and has been working for Brett Johnson Roofing Company for many years. Fun fact - he also worked as a Ranger for the California State Parks for a time.

Taylor Johnson

Foreman

Trained with the guidance and expertise of Brett, Taylor Johnson has been in the roofing business for about 5 years. He's a capable leader and expert craftsman. In addition, he is also a certified mechanic and routinely repairs and services the company's fleet of pick up trucks.

Jason Johnson

Journeyman

Jason has been doing roofing construction for close to 10 years and is incredibly skilled. Besides roofing, he also buys and sells real estate.

Logan Wilkins, Scott Birk, & Jacob Loomis

Apprentices

Logan, Scott, and Jacob are the newest members of the crew. As apprentices, they work closely with Brett and the more seasoned employees to carefully hone their craft. Each are incredibly hard-working and skilled roofers and Brett is honored to help them grow in the roofing trade.

Cheryl Johnson

Website creator/tech

Cheryl made this website for her dad, Brett. She doesn’t put on the nail bags much anymore, as she’s busy in Los Angeles making cartoons. She’s very happy to help Brett create and maintain this website!
